Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Feeding America Tampa Bay’s mission of “ending hunger and nourishing hope” in West Central Florida. In 2011, over 10,000 volunteers donated more than 42,000 hours at Feeding America Tampa Bay. They sorted food donations, stocked food pantry shelves and helped us distribute food through our Mobile Pantry distributions and Kids Cafe nutrition programs. Through these amazing volunteers, Feeding America Tampa Bay was able to give hope to thousands of families in need.
